I purchased these wheels to enable my 3x3 Ikea Kallax unit to roll about. I spent ages searching for solutions that are referenced as Ikea parts but are either only available in Europe or were discontinued.8 wheels came in the package, 4 with a brakes (locks) and 4 without. Because I was worried about the Kallax unit's ability to not fall apart by screwing into it to support the wheels directly, I instead attached to 3/4" pieces of wood to the bottom of the unit and then screwed the wheels into that.It has worked like a charm and the unit wheels around easily even on the carpet and it feels very steady.And for the remaining 4 wheels, I'm just waiting for a need to make something else roll and I'm all ready for it. ;-)

These are great casters, purchased & used them several times. The delivery date is often changed after receiving the acknowledgment, can be changed multiple times. And when they will actually arrive is unpredictable.

I used these on a bass guitar amp that is too heavy to pick up and carry around. These casters are doing the job as expected.

I recently built the Ana White Ryobi workbench which some of you may be familiar with and it recommends a wheel around this size for the roll out carts that stow underneath. I did some research on amazon for caster wheels and went with these. They needed to lock well considering they were being used on a table saw cart that absolutely needs to stay in place when locked. I ordered 8 total (4 for each cart) and they wrk perfectly.They have about a 3 1/2" total installed height, look great and roll super smooth, even across a rough concrete floor. when you click the locks they REALLY lock tightly! I have been using them for awhile now and have had no flat spots, chips or damage of any kind. In the photos I added you can see them attached to the carts. I attached them with 3" self tapping screws. Highly recommended!

Great quality at a great price.The metal frames are solid. The wheels are well made with very nice bearings.The locking mechanisms are easy to use and provide a firm lock on the wheels.These are easily capable of supporting loads of 100 lbs per wheel.I used these to create several rolling pallets to move light to moderate loads around a production floor. It's convenient to be able to roll pallet loads without needing a pallet jack.

Used 6 of these on a workbench. Two wheels failed completely, barfing up all their ball bearings, and all six had sloughing or shedding of the red wheels' surfaces, and this from a flat floor that had some mild texture as a fine resin bound driveway can. The workbench isn't that heavy; two people can lift a side, so it certainly isn't the weight.
