I have not come across galvanized shackles before so these were a nice surprise. I plan on using them to replace the mild-steel plates that are on my boat trailer. These make WAY more sense as they will be resistant to rusting and corrosion from launching the boat. Even in Salt water.They are thick and fully coated. Much better quality than OEM shackles. At a great price!

These shackles are not standard. The holes are supposed to be 9/16", but they are closer to 1/2" and need to be drilled out. They are also not standard length between hole centers. They will work if you replace all the straps at once (highly recommended), but they cannot be mixed with straps from other suppliers.
