Supports my switch and access point that is mounted on a wood shelf, but much higher up the wall and out of the way from other equipment.Very sturdy and the provided screws were perfect for the wood shelf.

I have purchased these brackets 2 different times. They are small, sleek and hold quite a bit for as small as they seem. 1 brackets can hold around 20 lbs. i hung shelves in a small office and put 3 on each shelve. I have books, files, plants and nick nacks on every one. I highly recommend them.

These are good shelf brackets that are stronger and more rigid than the decorative ones I bought from a big box store. The thickness of the flatstock steel itself is a little bit concerning, as it's around 2mm which they say in the listing, but I didn't realize how flexible that might be in real life. The cross piece could definitely bend horizontally under a very heavy load. But overall it seems quite strong, especially if you use more than 2. I would not use this for truly heavy duty shelving, like tools or paint cans, but it would probably be fine for most household stuff. I didn't use the provided screws because I was attaching to metal, so I can't comment on that.

These are more of a medium duty support rather than a heavy duty. That being said, they are functional and work well, though I did not use the hollow wall anchors and instead mounting these with 2 inch construction screws directly into the wall studs. This ensures that whatever weight is on the shelf will not cause a failure. For 16 inch spaced studs, use 1 support every 16 inches and these will work well.

These brackets are not really heavy duty. They were good enough for my application but I would not use them if the shelf had to hold anything heavy. Medium weight might be a better description.
