I really like these! The gold is very soft and will go beautifully with my green plates. They are simple and elegant. The seam in the metal is visible, but looks like it will hold together quite well. The only reason for less one star is because some of them are *slightly* misshapen. It isn't by much...but 2 of the 8 are not completely round on the top...they have a little "bump" that looks more like a corner. And also some of them are scuffed and the shiny gold is showing through the matte finish (I'm unsure if this is a production issue or a shipping one since the bag broke open and they were loose inside the package). Overall I do like these and will likely use them frequently.
