I used to go through boxes of plastic straws due to health issues. I tried aluminum straws but they have a weird mouth feel.These glass straws are really amazing, the have the advantage of being multi-use. They are beautiful and transparent. The drinkability is the same as drinking from a glass. The glass thickness is great and is non-porous, it doesn't affect the taste of the drink. These are very sturdy unless dropped on tile flooring. The little cleaning brush is easy to use for hand washing the straws. I have washed the straws in the dishwasher utensil basket as well. There are several sizes available. I purchased both 8 mm & 10 mm thickness sizes. I prefer the 8 mm size straws. I use these every day and they're prettier than my picture.

Finally, they've created a reusable straw that can be confidently cleaned. We bought plastic, reusable straws that weren't see-thru, so despite our best cleaning efforts, we still didn't know what material might be left in the straw, such as black mold! Now comes the advent of see-thru glass straws. These straws have a wider diameter which is prefect for drinking smoothies.We put them in the dishwasher and then use one of the two bottle brushes they provide to make certain the straws are cleaned. It's comforting to know that reusable straws are sterile and these glass straws make it possible. I highly recommend these straws to anyone who is concerned about our environment. This is the answer to billions of straws in our landfills.

These straws are very durable! I've had mine for a year now, I've dropped them before and drank hot coffee through them daily. None of them have broken and the color has not faded!

These straws are great and they clean up pretty good in the dishwasher but of course you need to run your included scrubber through them. No metal taste no metal "feel" in your mouth. The colors are pretty. I really like that they are shatter resistant however you do have to take care when you are handling glass products no matter what. I have only used them with adults and they have really like the idea of the glass straws however I will tell you not a good idea to use them with hot drinks. Children I would be cautious of letting them use them unsupervised. I am very happy with the straws!

Was looking for a better option than plastic single-use or even reusable plastic straws. Some of the others I tried were too long/short, or too narrow to drink from. My whole family loves these and I ordered extra.
