✔All splitters include an internal printed circuit board inside of a nickel plated zinc die cast housing, which helps to improve overall splitter performance in return loss,insertion loss and port-to-port isolation measurements, resulting in a stronger, cleaner signal with more protection from outside signal interference.
✔Used frequency spectrum 5-2500 MHz for optimal performance on all devices. All 2.5 GHz splitters have a solid, sealed body for improved EMI/RFI performance. Machine formed threads on the F ports allow for smooth connector mating.
✔This Splitter supports the 1 GHz to 2.5 GHz frequency range for satellite and on-demand cable television services. All ports on the 2.5 GHz splitters are power pass enabled.

I bought these because you need a higher frequency splitter to get better speed from your MoCA Ethernet. I also noticed that I had a lot of cable signal splitters in my home electronics box, and I wanted to reduce the number of splitters. My old splitters were only 5 - 500MHz and I was getting around 300 - 550Mbps download speed according to the Xfinity speed test. I replaced my Xfinity gateway with their latest gateway, replaced my splitters with Keliiyo Coaxial Cable Splitters, installed new goCOAX MoCA 2.5GbE adapters and connected them to BrosTrend 8-Port 2.5Gbs switches via ARISKEEN Cat 8 Ethernet cables, and the switches are connected to my computer with ARISKEEN Cat 8 Ethernet cables. Now I am consistently getting over 800Mbps of download speed according to the Xfinity speed test. I would recommend these splitters even if you are not going to use them in a MoCA setup.

I live in an area where it’s hard to get local broadcast with an antenna and was able to find a good antenna spot and then split that broadcast throughout my house because of this. Easy install and pretty slender for what it is. No signal interference and am able to get 30 channels with my atenna in every room now.

I recently purchased a house that had every room wired but only two cables actually plugged in to the input upstairs via a smaller splitter. With this I was able to connect all the rooms I wanted, plus run multiple MoCa adapters without any apparent loss of quality and still get over 500 MBPS download speeds on the farthest leg, without having to wire an amplifier in the attic.

When i ordered this item, I primarily ordered it because it seemed from the photo like the finish on the unit was a flat/"billet" type finish, like it was a chunk of aluminum that was milled down. However, when I received it, it's clear that it's just a "pot metal" piece, with a crappy chrome/zinc plating over it. Looks almost nothing like the photo in terms of finish.

Tried it as a replacement splitter to help a cable tv problem. Seemed to make the problem (stutter) worse.
