Ok, so my husband is an aquarium enthusiast (to put it lightly). He likes to build a new aquarium about every six months, that is his hobby. While I appreciate him staying home and happy, I have had some nightmares about cooked corals, broken aquariums, etc. I have to say; I was skeptic when he said he is going to build the aquarium stand from this material, but it looks fantastic, and it is very sturdy. It looks industrial, but it kind of fits in our eclectic home. My hubby did not have any issues with the installation, did not have to return anything. We are both happy with this purchase.

Pricey stuff and shipping isn’t any cheaper. A small project can rapidly add up to or exceed the cost of buying the thing your trying to DIY in the first place. Good quality though. There’s less expensive similar options out there. Depending on your project, you can choose accordingly.

I'm building a small cabinet for my minivan out of 8020 (size 1010). I'm a newbie at this stuff and after watching many Youtube videos I decided to give it a shot. I found the items offered by 8020 on Amazon are true to the product pages, they ship them in a reasonable timeframe (I received every 8020 order in about a week, even though the advertised shipping was longer).

I really like this product. It was recommended by YouTube “Humble Road†and “Seven O Savageâ€. So glad I listened. 80/20 is perfect for building strong structures and it is easy to work with.

This stuff is great. I used it to build a triple monitor stand. The stand currently sits on a desk but because it is so reconfigurable I plan to change it to stand on the floor or mount it to another frame in the future. The only drawback are the shipping fees. If you get everything you need on the first order the shipping is tolerable, but if you need one more screw plan on paying about the same for shipping as you did for your original order.
