Replaced in my Weber q1200. The black stabilizing plate is a bit larger than original so I did not use the new one that was included. Grill fired right up and in fact I suspect this one is not quite as restrictive as the OEM, my grill went to near 700f before I turned it off, no complaints from me as the OEM gradually had reduced itself to about 450f top end last year, it was DOA this year. Don't fear the Chinese replacement which is half the price of OEM.

Best part of this item was the fact they included mini-wrench to undo handle bolts. The worst part was the fact that the Weber was used twice with this "new" regulator and it failed the second time. No matter how I turned the dial the flame was bright yellow and high indicating from what I have read on-line is that the regulator was not working properly. Checked everything by taking everything apart, checking all connections for issues and then reinstalling. Then it would not ignite at all. Checked propane container and on off chance I had nothing in it, replaced with brand new one. Go to ignite and nothing. Nor could I smell any propane at all with the propane container opened fully and wiith the regulator set to far end.....no propane coming out. Regulator dead. My humble suggestion is that avoiding cheap equipment is a good idea. Head off to buy an actual Weber made regulator. After my experience with the cheaply made regulator, I would not trust them at all.

Replaced regulator on my Weber 2000 grill and it was a perfect fit. Easy to install and I’m back to grilling!!

This seems to heat up faster and recover faster than the original. It’s not just a replacement for the original - it’s an upgrade. I’ve only had it a few months so longevity is unknown. The original only lasted two years so it’s a low bar to match.
