First off I did not install this spindle mount on the machine it is intended for, I put this mount on my Millennium Machines Milo V1.5, LDO kit. The reason I purchased this spindle mount is that I was having issues with dimensional accuracy on my parts and based on some deflection measurements the plastic spindle mount was the culprit.It did require some modifications to make it work, I had to remove the alignment slot that would be used on the intended machine. The screw hole pattern was about 65x48mm and I drilled 4 M4x15 threaded holes into the stock Z-plate. I had no issues with getting the new spindle mount in tram with the rest of the machine, the mount seems quite well made.The results are significantly decreased deflection, the new weakest link is the column itself, however, it is certainly stiff enough for my purposes. The pricing is reasonable as well compared to other spindle mounts, and the foot print makes it very adaptable to suit the needs of a fair few machines. Overall, I will be recommending this spindle mount to others.
