They seem to work mostly. When you can get the film off of the back they seem to stick pretty well.The problem is the film around the edges is almost impossible to remove.They put the film on the back and then sewed the edges.Making it a time consuming task to remove the film from the outer edges.It's too hard to tell if it's all removed because it looks just like the glue backing.The middle piece comes off easy enough. But the edges come off in tiny pieces that are hard to see, and even harder to remove. If you happen to miss any of it the patch won't stick in that area. I'll probably be looking elsewhere for my next patches.

Several of the patches with the heat activated adhesive appear to be missing the adhesive. They will not adhere to what I am heat pressing. It only appears to be one package out of the six separate packages.

Guys, I have a hat press and I know how to use it. I've tried these patches at high temps for a short and long time with no success. The I reduced the heat 5 times and added time to do the old 'low n slow' bit. Still won't work. I've lost track of how many variables I've thrown at these patches including pulling out the ironing board approach. I am waiting for my first patch to stick. I gave 2 stars instead of one because they engraved absolutely perfectly. But who cares if it won't adhere?

We tried a couple of these from our order, because I was so excited about the different colors and shapes, but none of them really stuck to the hat. They were all either half applied or almost not at all and would also easily be pealed off after they cooled. Very disappointed

People are leaving reviews that these don’t stick at all. I had the same issue then realized that you need to peel the back coating off first which is incredibly time-consuming.. once you get the center peeled off your left with the outer area, which is the most important of the patch to adhere the edges. won’t be buying these again.
