When we took this old truck in at the shop, i had my doubts we'd find parts but this sending unit fit and functioned like OEM

The fuel gauge works tested it pre instalation had to cut plug an wire to factory plug doesnt read full when its full . Works fine for what i wanted .

The float is about 3 inches shorter then oem on a 84 hilux 4x4. Does not reach bottom of tank on 1984 hilux 4x4. Maybe 2wd. Idk.

Good quality product that installed in tank as easy as original. The plug end did not match the original equipment. This was a minor problem as I just wired original plug on new sending unit. I did also check description and specs again and it states it fits a 1987 Toyota pickup. At half the price of auto parts store I installed and wired. Works well just beware of exact fit isn't always an exact fit.
