Harley Dyna top mount replacement and perfect. Very solid with a little bit of bling at the same time. So much better than the cheap ugly junk Harley put on at the factory.

Bought this to make a custom alternator mount. I ordered it long and trimmed it down to fit and re-tapped it. Didn’t realize the center rod was stainless but that’s a plus! Can’t beat it for the price.

Installed on a Yanmar 2qm15 marine engine to adjust water pump & alternator belt tension. Tight space and this makes for easy adjustment and replacement when needed. No crow bar and extra hands needed now! I would have like to have found a 3 or 4 inch version as I had to use a smaller belt with the 2.5" option and the 5+ versions I see are too long.

I hate the slotted arm alternator adjusters that most V-belt cars use. My 300-6 had a rather long one and it was frustrating to get good tension on the belts.After adding A/C and converting to a 3G alternator with higher output, it was a constant struggle to keep the belt from making noise. This 7" arm was the perfect length to replace the slotted adjuster and it's made a world of difference. The arm itself is a nice quality piece and the heim joints seem properly tight. They allowed the right amount of movement for the arm to angle out slightly for the alternator mount.No more squealing for my classic Ford!

The first one i received popped the brass eye out of one side. The second (replacement) has been fine.

It doesn't specifically say what measurement you're getting you would think if it says 5 and 1/2 in that would be from where your bolts go in each end that is not the case the measurement is only for the center Rod I ordered a five and a half inch because that's what I needed from bolt hole to bolt hole what I received is 8 in long from bolt hole to bolt hole but the center tube is 5 1/2 in. Definitely a misleading measurement
