We LOVE this piano. The keys are weighted and plays and sounds like an upright piano. It takes up a small foot print in the home and was very easy to assemble. Great quality and sound and love that it comes in multiple colors.

I have never played piano but I am going to begin learning on my new Wencai keyboard. It has a very sturdy somewhat stylish wooden stand. The stand folds over to protect the keys when not in use. It was packed very well and had all of the hardware including a screwdriver to put the stand portion together. You may need help lifting the keyboard onto the stand because it has some weight to it. But I love the way it looks. It has 88 weighted keys and 3 floor pedals. Appears to be good value and quality. Looking forward to learning on this beautiful keyboard.

I’ve never bought a keyboard piano before. But this one seemed really promising! It’s so easy to assemble, sounds amazing! The keyboard feels really nice and realistic. The volume of this piano is also very loud! I love it!

I looked at electronic pianos for a long time before I finally chose this one. I’ve had it for about 2 months and I’m very pleased with it.

This digital piano by Wencai is an excellent addition to our family room and a worth replacement for our 49 year old upright piano!Build quality: the piano came in a low profile box, and perfectly protected pcs without going overboard. Though there are Styrofoam blocks (6 in all), they are kept to a minimum. There is some carboard sheets to protect the rest of the stand parts, but no foam wrap (thank goodness). The stand comes in four (4) pcs. and is super easy to assemble - it took me 10 minutes to assemble by myself. The pedal base is pre-assembled and the wire simply feeds through the pre-drilled hole. The screws included are sturdy and work well. I was nervous about the screws for the middle support as they looked more like deck screws. Since the stand is made of MDF and not solid wood, deck screws tend to chew through MDF easily. Kudos to Wencai for thinking about this and using plastic plugs pre assembled to accept the coarse screws and provide ample bite! Be careful when inserting the screws through the leg holes as the boards are coated, not painted or stained. Otherwise, you may not align the screws properly and possibly damage the boards. Once assembled, the stand was very sturdy and capable of holding the keyboard in place. I needed some help to place the keyboard onto the stand and once in place, I used the thumbscrews to secure it to the stand. Once fully assembled, this is a very compact piano, half the size of our analog piano! When not in use, the cover is discreet and it looks like a side table when not in use! Even the book stand conveniently folds in, is held via magnet and does not create any bulk!Playability: after plugging in the pedals to the underside and plugging in the power, the piano started up. The controls are on the left hand side and are discrete. The instructions are easy to understand and all of the functions were working. The keys are weighted and have a very nice action to them. Our 49 year old analog piano has a slightly softer feel, though I attribute that to the 49 years of use. The Wencai keys work very well and after a few songs I did notice a bit of finger fatigue, but nothing to discourage me from playing. I appreciated the new weight and slight firmness of new keys and all 88 keys are equally balanced (our analog piano keys vary in action and is noticeable in certain octaves). Overall, the keys are great and play extremely well, even when playing a mean arpeggio! Oh, and the keys are progressive (they have accelerometers), which allows for variable tones! There is a very wide range of progression in each key as I was able to play a multitude of tones!Functions: the Wencai provides the usual gamut of functions: volume, dual headphone input (nice), sounds, rhythm, metronome and even sample songs. Most of the sounds are your typical selection - don't expect some wild and experimental selections, but you get the usual piano variations, xylophones, flutes, clarinets, strings and some percussion (though a full drum kit is missing, too bad). We enjoy playing piano at the most, so after 1 hour of experimenting, the piano voices will be most used on this device. Lastly, it does have a USB input, which allows you to connect a digital device to the piano (I'll assume you can play your music through the piano to play along) and it is midi compatible, though I have not yet tested that. I'll be sure to connect it to my son's DAW and update my findings.Overall, this is a fabulous digital piano that will be great for beginners and expert players alike. There is only one caveat: it does not come with it's own bench. I would have taken a star away, but the Wencai digital piano is such a fabulous instrument I don't mind buying my own bench. An amazing investment!

My wife gave away her digital keyboard a few years ago to our niece and has missed it since then. We just never really had anywhere to set it up since she didn't have a stand or any table space. Getting this WENCAI digital piano was a great excuse to finally make some space for it, and since it's smaller than full size piano it wasn't too hard to accommodate it.I know nothing about pianos, my last piano experience was probably playing twinkle twinkle when I was 10, but my wife loves it. It has pedals which a digital keyboard lacks, the keys feel like piano keys, it has an audio output for headphones. It looks fine, nothing special and the build quality is ok. Think Ikea, not full solid wood, but it's good enough for the price and it feels solid enough. It arrived without any additional packaging, on a day when we were out of town until the evening, so unfortunately it was pretty clear that there was a piano sitting on our doorstep. It's also QUITE heavy, and you'll want two people to move the box.

The thing you have to understand about a digital piano designed like this 88 fully-weighted key option from brand WENCAI is that, in current times, at the brands price point (currently just under $600 for the black model), you cannot expect to receive a device cemented in real lacquered wood like a grand piano. And with that caveat out of the way, you can be assured that, with careful care for your installation process, this corrugated-wood option will still be very secure and safe to house the piano unit, and can presumably last for many years.I noted other reviews stated that included mounting screws were not large enough, or that the entire framework for the piano was somehow too flimsy. I think that this has been severely overstated. You are not getting a plastic-contained MIDI keyboard, here. If you want that, get that. You will have some benefits of convenience, but also some sacrifices, like no built-in speaker system, with no ability to play the device without a laptop or synth unit connected to transfer sound packs to.With this option from WENCAI, you are getting an all-in-one, complete solution. No need to get an additional stand, no need to get foot pedals... The metronome and sound packs and a variety of features are already built in; the piano sound in particular is spot-on, and will give you hours and hours of authentic practice and live-play sessions.I will note a few things... I do not understand how to gauge the brands pricing ratio. As noted, at the time of this review, the black version of this digital piano stands at a little under $600. However the redwood and white colour options have alarmingly incremental increases in cost for the exact same device; the first at just over $1K, and the second headed into near $2K territory. It is a wildly differentiated pricing scheme, and one must wonder if this was somehow a mistake by the brand, unknown...That said, I think there is solid value here at the black versions asking price. The keys are indeed fully weighted mechanisms that are fully adjustable. They feel great under the hands, and while they are not absolutely a perfect science, compared to say a real "Grand" piano, you will still feel right at home if you are accustomed to playing on a traditional, full-weight key, non-digital piano. This device has been designed to not only emulate that experience, but replicate and substantiate it as closely as possible, with a number of additional, digital advancements as a plus.It also has the luxury of three proper foot pedals combined into the overall build. for their various use-case scenarios (which I won't get into; if you know, you know), compared to a MIDI or lesser digital piano, one-pedal accessory that you often also have to order separately. This however means that while this three-pedal built-in solution is effectively superior, there is sadly also no standard 1/4 inch sustain female input available in the back of this piano. Instead, the three-pedal mount runs a midi-style interface cord into a very oddly-placed port on the underneath of the piano. It means that, if you do decide to put-together the full stand and install it onto the boxed casing for this piano, you will have access to the sustain pedals. However, if you choose to set the piano box on a tabletop instead, the sustain pedal midi port will unfortunately be blocked. That is, unless you were to choose to use a traditional midi keyboard stand, which I do believe would still be more than strong enough to accommodate this full piano, even despite its corrugated-wood encasement. If you decided to choose this route, rather than installing the bottom stand, you could then technically still connect the three-pedal bottom and just lay it on the ground. However, and in truth, I really only suggest this in a worst-case situation; for e.g. if you somehow managed to damage the framework for this piano during a move... Ultimately there are different kinds of pianos for different kinds of performance scenarios. I reiterate, that if you want a more portable, but purely MIDI keyboard, then get that.Although this piano does have computer-connect capability for use with a DAW (digital audio workstation) so that you can record your performances for e.g., this kind of device is not generally meant for that purpose. In reality, it is a home performance and learning piano, with built-in speakers which are surprisingly loud and clear sounding. It has the capability to separate the keys in half-style allowing you to work with a professional tutor who can play alongside you, and two front-accessible headphone jacks, for two to play quietly. It has an 88, full-widthlength (and fully-weighted) hammer-action key base, which feels more than authentic enough, and is a relative joy to play. And while... no, it is not a real-wood frame and stand, it is very nicely built, and will look beautiful in any home or apartment, and I see absolutely no reason for anyone to struggle too much with the setup. Just exercise care when putting it together, and everything will be fine.Overall, sure… there are a variety of minor imperfections here, and no… I do not like the placement of the underside midi port, and I also dislike the fact that there is not an additional 1/4 inch input for your own choice of sustain pedal if you preferred. But once again, there are plenty of other keyboard options out there that would give you that, or might be more portable, or light, or somehow more convenient if that was your particular need. This digital piano from brand WENCAI is for someone who wants an impressive display in their home, and is an impressive play experience for their learning and overall musical growth. There is good value here if you take care to put in the effort. 4 stars.

This piano has exceeded my expectations. First of all, it is beautiful! I love that you can close the lid to a) prevent any dust accumulating and b) it can act almost as a console for room decor. Next, I was very impressed with the sound quality, it sounds incredible and I love that it has weighted keys that sound just like a true non-keyboard piano while having all the perks of a keyboard such as controlling sound volume and being able to turn it off.To be completely honest, the assembly wasn't the easiest. Some of the screws didn't fit the screw driver bit properly so if you have alternative screws that would be recommended so I personally was not too affected, although I could see how this can be frustrating. Once you get over that hurdle though and assemble it, it is totally worth it! Definitely would recommend this to all my friends and family!
