I bought this to learn with. The sound is so so but , it is cheap enough to be able to learn with 88 keys. I love it!!

This keyboard seems well made and the semi-weighted keys feel nice. For a keyboard with 88 keys, it’s light weight and portable. I think it’s a good choice for beginners and a good value for the money.

The good:Sounds loud and clearKeys are the proper full sizePriceThe bad:Not semi weighted at all, flimsy plasticLow harmonic max (can’t play a lot of keys at once)Overall three stars for me, I chose this piano expecting semi weighted keys and was hoping to play chords or key heavy songs without cutoff.Dont mind the dust, keyboard came clean 😇

I am 75 years old and have just been diagnosed w/ Alzheimer’s. My dr asked if I’d played the piano when I was younger— rec getting a keyboard to keep using my music brain— it is awesome cuz I can still sight read and found classical and modern pieces to play for fun… helps me still feel like meðŸ˜

I waited a while to write this review. I wanted to really get to know this keyboard and I am happy to say that this is an amazing value for the amount of features packed into this full sized keyboard.I am not a keyboard player but it is something I have always wanted to learn so I was quite drawn to this starter set, which is a huge complete set including a stand and everything you would need to get started learning. The amount of digital controls was my only concern, but it turns out that is not a big deal.So aside from wanting to learn how to play the keyboard I also wanted to play with tracking on the computer. This meant I would need a MIDI keyboard and this one also fit that need for me. The extras through in like the weighted keys and defeat pedal were just icing's on the cake.Overall I have been very impressed with this keyboard and would highly recommend it if your A - looking to learn piano and want a full setup that will get you started quickly or B - want a full sized midi keyboard without breaking the bank. This will take care of your on both fronts and do so very well. The only thing I can say about this keyboard, and maybe it is because I am used to a "cheap" Casio keyboard is that the keys feel a little rough texture wise. My Casio (which is not weighted) has very smooth keys that actuate in a very predictable manner where as these weighted keys require more control over force as it will affect the output, I guess that is what should be expected though so I am probably blowing that out of proportion because I have never had weighted keys before.

I wrote a prior review giving this a rating of five for being a good buy and well built. I continue to find it to be a good buyand for the most part solidly built. The stand, although it looks flimsy, is pretty solid and almost all metal. The seat is solid and heavy. However the reason I revised the rating to a 4, is the keys although partially weighted,are not full size and if your knuckles are swollen you may have difficulty playing chords or arpeggios due to fitting your fingers between the keys. This shouldn’t be a problem for a small child Or an adult with fairly small hands. I just wish it had full size keys.

This keyboard is great as a starter for kids or new learners. The keyboard has multiple sound functions and comes with a stand and sound sustaining pedal. I like that a carrying case is included for storage or transport. Overall this is a good product given the value.
