I bought these for a birthday party. I was looking specifically for pallets that had soft bristles that would allow for better quality art projects for the kids. We had plenty left over and they all loved it!

I needed a budget-friendly set of watercolors for my classroom so I took a chance on this art set and I am very impressed with its quality so far. To be fair I have not actually given it to my students to use so we'll see when it's faced with a bunch of rambunctious 5 and 6 year olds but so far I opened up one of them tried out each one of the colors on a piece of paper and I'm pleased with what I see! I had seen some reviews that the paint brushes were very poor quality so I'm going to wait and see on those but I'm already pleasantly surprised because I was expecting those plastic bristles that come on the paint brushes with most watercolor sets and they're not. It's a very nice soft bristle on it, the colors come out fairly vibrant, the yellow was a little light but I didn't try it again it was yellow and I could tell it was yellow which was fine for me. My one possible complaint and My worry is that the handles on the brushes are an unfinished wood and the one I opened has a divot in the wood and it's definitely warped and not straight so I do worry that those might break. I purchased a set of plastic handle brushes on the side just kind of expecting brushes that I was not impressed with so if I need to change them out I will. All in all for the price for 36 of them for a class set on a teacher budget I am very pleased so far and will update if I feel differently after my students start using them.

So I got them as a party favor for my son's birthday to give out. I will admit I was pretty hesitant because of the price being so cheap compared to other brands, but nope! They're great! The paint has a good consistency and thickness to it. (So good a child stained my friend's white party chair that we borrowed.)I like that another reviewer mentioned the wood brush... and it's true! Lol So they're consistent with the product and it's a good product. Kudos!

The box was in pretty bad shape. It was starting to open on one side and when I opened it some of the paint cases were broken.
