Threaded rod allows for durable and smooth compression of springs both on or off the vehicle with hand or power tools
Constructed with forged hooks and center screw hardened for maximum strength and longevity.
Lubricate both main shafts with oil. Align the hooks with the safety pins backed off so the hooks will fit over the spring
Position both set of hooks 180° a part, opposite each other. Push safety pins in the lock position on hooks.
Coil spring compressor tool constructed with forged hooks and center screw hardened for maximum strength and longevity.
Wide compatible with struts assembly that remove from the vehicle to transfer the old spring on the new strut.
Using a 3/4"or 19mm socket and ratchet turn the main shaft compressing the strut spring enough to safely remove the fastener nut holding cartridge.

Well-made and very sturdy as is the plastic carrying case. No issues with finish or function. As manual spring compressors go, this is a great product at a great price. I've only used it twice, but it worked as intended - no safety concerns. If I needed another, I'd get the same one...your results may vary, but I doubt it. Enjoy...

They work great the case is handy for storing only fault I have is the safety pins wouldn’t close over the springs but regardless of that worked flawlessly

They worked perfectly on my Can Am ATV to install spring spacers. I really like the retaining pins. Good safety feature to prevent the tool slipping out under compression.

Installing rear coil springs Ram 1500 6in. Lift kit. They are good enough for a spring that is not high tension or does not need to be compressed a great deal.I don't think I would call these Heavy Duty.

I usually rent a spring compressor from an auto parts store, but for less than $30 you can have your own, the case is a little flimsy but the tool feels sturdy and well made. I used it to compress Toyota Tundra springs which are pretty beefy, it worked perfectly.

I have 40+ years as an auto technician and this is the most simple to use spring compressor that I ever used. The part that I like the most is the threaded bar head. Because it have the option to use a socket or the ratchet extension for the tight spaces. The pins helps to keep the compressor on their position, so you can't deal with the bending and slippery situations when the springs are compressed.

It might be unfair to give these only 3 stars, since they seem to be very durable and would probably be good for large trucks or buses, but I would have saved myself some time (and money) if I knew ahead of time that these would not work on small vehicles.They're just too big. Way too big. Like, they could be half this size, and might still be too big for anything smaller than an Accord...I guess if I ever buy a truck and want to lift it in my garage for mudding, I'm set, but that's a pretty big if.If you have a truck, these are great. If you have a small car, or big motorcycle, give these a miss and get something much, much smaller.

Funciona perfectamente, la use con una pistola eléctrica. Se puede usar con un dado de 21mm o directamente con una entrada de 1/2". Buen diseño, material resistente, excelente precio. Los usé para un Sentra 2017.
