Using this for a dedicated z drag kit for kayaking/rafting. Biners are on the heavy side but well made and certified stamped, so they'll be staying in the car. Would for sure buy again. Would make great prusiks for use on 12mm ropes as well.

I bought this rope to use with a 7-1rope hoist.The 8mm diameter fits perfectly in the pulleys. Iam very happy with this rope.

I'm using this as a static safety line for roofing and arboritst work. Works fine in this application. 8mm is pretty skinny line for day-to-day use for climbing and dynamic stress loads but perfect for helping maintain balance moving from point to point without dynamic (shock) load stresses. It's also stiffer than a traditional climbing rope. These are the only reasons for the 4 vs 5 star rating.Major part of the value of this package is the wonderful pre-formed loops, quality thimbles, and really good, easy to use carabiners. They make connection, one handed locking a thoughtless breeze. Unplanned disconnects are a disaster waiting to happen. These 'biners virtually eliminate that possibility.This is going in my camping kit as well for hoisting my bear-bag.

Great price and quality of the rope, and the caribiners on end. I am a LEO and bought this for rescues that come up now and then, Used this to pull two people up a river bank after they had fallen over side.

Nice looking rope for rope purposes. I wouldn't bet my life on it; it does not have the proper rating/certification. I do not support that they call this a climbing rope. In my opinion it's more of a utility rope and I keep it in my truck and use it often for everything from securing loads to pulling cars out of the snow. The sewn eyelets are garbage and they will eventually become deformed and need to be cut off. It comes with some nice steel locking carbineers that are probably worth it without the rope. Keep in mind 15KN. is the minimum breaking strength (MBS) of the rope and not the working load(WL) which is 3KN. Using it above its WL will cause fatigue which will eventually lead to breaking below its MBS. A climbing rope can experience forces greater than 3KN in normal use which is why you wouldn't use this as a climbing rope. Another reason why you wouldn't use this as a climbing rope is it doesn't meet the same strict manufacturing and testing standards as climbing rope. So, use it and abuse it for everything else, but don't hang your life from it.
