Set Screw-Style Bore Shaft Collars for Improved Holding Power
Set screw-style bore shaft collars are more advantageous, especially when used on shafts, pipings, or tubings that are of softer materials than that of the bore shaft collar. The low axial load support and even simple position adjustments will now fall to the set screw. The set screw itself is a socket cup-point set screw that directly secures the bore shaft collar to the shaft. A 4mm hex key is necessary to tighten the set screw.

They fit if your axle is completely round and not hammered on the end.Tolerance is correct so if you have rust or debris on the axle it should also be removed easily by a file or sand paper.The locking set screws are secure and I have never had one come loose.We use these on our hand trucks and are highly recommended..Quality product at a reasonable price.

The only issue and it really wasn't, but could have been for some people. They should include a allen wrench for something like these.

Perfect fit, finish is very smooth and the set screw was well fitted and not loose like some of shore products. Used to hold roller shaft in position-sure beats paying $30 from Lifecycle stairmaster.
