I used these when I had a Pod delivered to my house with a decorative concrete coating on my driveway. I put these under 2 X 4's and had the Pod set on the wood and it worked great. The driveway had no damage.As others have stated these do have a strange smell that is like a smoke odor. They were outside so it didn't bother me.

Performance-wise in stopping vibrations they were effective but I couldn’t stand the smell. It lessened after three weeks but was still there. So I soaked them over night in a tub with shampoos, then overnight in a sink with Dawn Power Wash, and then overnight in a sink with a whole bottle of Simple Green and I could still smell the rubber-like fumes from a few feet away. I was tired of dealing with them so I had to throw them out in the end.

I am using these (doubled up) under each support leg of my heat pumps outdoor condenser. I also used an anti vibration damper on top of each leg. This finally got rid of all the noise. Make sure your condenser is perfectly level or it will still be noisy and cause the bearings on the fan to wear out quickly.

I'm not using these outdoors for an HVAC unit, but it looks like someone already has. Every single one of these arrived caked in disgusting dry mud.
