I’ve been fork mounting my bike for transport for years now, and i never had these. On my last trip i hit the brake and couldn’t separate the caliper since i didn’t have a flat head screwdriver handy. I bought these so i never have to deal with that again.

Easily inserts between disc brake pads and the little clip on top keeps it securely in place.

Sure you got a spacer with the brakes. But do you still have it? Or have it when you need it? Nope. So here are a bunch to solve that problem

Used these on the 2 pot brakes in my fleet. They snap in and stay put. Can't ask for more.

This is one of those odd, minor accessories that can have many variations and local bike shops don’t seem to have them- at least not one that fit every bike. It’s a simple product that work perfectly as long as it fits and holds in place in the brake gap after you take a wheel off.I can happily report that this version for Shimano disc brake does fit pretty well on my stock Trek Excalibur 8 as promised. There is a little play when inserted, but in my test, it did hold in place well, so good enough! Glad I got them.

These spacers fit well and are essential pieces of kit when you have the wheel out of the bike. They are designed for Shimano disc brakes and these fit well. When I transport my bike, I always put these spacers into the callipers - just in case someone pulls a brake lever - possibly me by mistake! At £6 for 8 of these, it may be worth you splitting the cost with a mate and having 4 each for £3?

L'épaisseur de la pièce est insuffisante pour procurer un maintien des plaquettes de frein au niveau pré-réglé.

A simple tool which is quite useful to have in the toolbox for anyone (like me) with hydraulic brakes. If a bike is being transported with the wheels removed, there's always the chance that the brake lever gets pulled or caught, which on a hydraulic system often means that the brake pistons are pushed out and then the fluid drains. The same can be true when changing pads or bleeding brakes, often carried out with the wheel off. Insert a couple of these and they prevent the pistons from popping out.At £7 for 8 I think the price is ok.
