These little tips are hard to buy because there are many different soldering irons and sellers are not good about telling us exactly which irons they fit. I bought these for a X-Tronic 3020 because my favorite brand does not fit correctly. Well, every one of these fit my X-Tronic 3020 perfectly. They also fit the corresponding inserts just right. The M5 tip fits the insert just a tiny bit looser than I would prefer, but it does not cause any issues. Also, the finish on these is beautiful, just like the photos. Mine looked like they were polished. Though they brown with use, they are still extremely smooth. I can't believe these only cost $7.00, especially considering the price and poor finish of the competition.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Direct fit onto my cheap Amazon adjustable temp ceramic soldering iron. Worked like a charm.

I was a little concern these wouldn't fit when I ordered them, but they all seem to fit and install perfectly on the Mypovos 8588D Dual Soldering/Hot Air workstation I have, and is exactly what I needed for some 3D printing related heat set inserts.Great stuff!

Stop struggling with lining up the inserts using a standard tip, get yourself the correct tool for the job, save time and stop screwing up your 3d prints.

i ordered these because they were listed at compatible with Weller ST tips. they are not. the tips are about 10mm shorter than the ST tips, so they just slosh around in the iron, and are unusable. they do seem to fit in a Milwaukee M12 soldering iron, more or less. they are about 1mm short for that, but that might not matter, since the ceramic heating element in the M12 iron fits inside the tip. the tips themselves might work really well, but be prepared to send them back if they don't fit your particular soldering iron. BTW, the vendor is both helpful and responsive, which is also important.

Nice design and decent quality but the shoulder is short, so they don't sit against the top of the barrel when fastened down. They flop and don't make a secure connection and would lose heat. Tried in my 948 air reflow set as well as my regular solder iron.

Doesn't fit into my 888D, cannot screw down assembly. Seems like a tolerance issue, have to cut something down. Do not recommend
