Bits were Dull and broke immediately cutting maple. Maple is hard but these were advertised as carbon steel. Returned

These plug cutters work exceptionally good. And I expect will give a long service life.

Imperfect Design results in a lot of friction with wood when drilling, so lots of heat, smoke, burnt surfaces. This is regardless of drilling speed. The longer, "tube" type bits have only 1 cutting edge that dulls very quickly. Don't count on using these very long, unless you're into sharpening after every use.

Plug cutters are perfect for my needs. Only complaint is that when searching for these cutters, I rejected all ones that specified metric sizes and opted to purchase this set listed with fractional sizes. The packaging lists the sizes as ordered, but upon opening the package, the cutters are marked with the metric sizes. The metric sizes are very close to the fractional drill bits that I have, and I made do with them, but I would not have purchased if I knew they were metric.

Größe der Bohrer ist gut, etwas schwierig zu handhaben ohne Ständerbohrmachine. Ansonsten ist die Verarbeitung okay.

First time using this kind of item and must say its an impressive bit of kit, personally I would move to a longer reaching one now I am familiar as to how it works.
