This pole sander comes in pieces that you screw together to form the full-sized handle. It's a great design because I can keep the entire assembly in my tool bag and put it together when needed. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to use, and the included sanding pads worked very well when preparing my walls for painting.

Disc is so loose on the handle that all it served to do was annoy me. The handle is lightweight aluminum that is very fragile and feels like it would break under pressure. I have 8' ceilings, so it seemed like I could have used another foot of handle.I had ordered a better one November 20th and it was back ordered for a month. I was told it would arrive Christmas eve. I was not happy about that since I had hoped to have the bedroom sanded and painted before Christmas. When I found out it wasn't due to arrive until the day before, I tried to cancel the order to no avail. At least Amazon offered me a refund on my monthly prime payment. Since the sander was going to arrive too late, I decided to order this one in hopes it would come sooner and I could get the job done. It arrived a few days before Christmas and turned out to be a useless piece of crap. I gave up on trying to fix it and make it usable. The first one arrived a day or two after, but had no handle with it. Luckily I had an old broomstick that I use for a roller extension. I didn't get the bedroom done in time for the holidays, and since i tried to use/fix this sander, I was unable to return it. Not a happy camper.

This wall sander made prepping my living room for painting so much easier! I used to dread sanding drywall, but this tool made the job much faster and less tiring. The extension pole is a lifesaver, especially for reaching high areas without having to climb a ladder. The sander itself is lightweight and easy to maneuver, and the different sanding discs that came with it were perfect for getting a smooth finish. It did kick up a bit of dust, even with my shop vac, so I'd recommend wearing a mask. But overall, this sander is a great tool for any DIYer tackling a painting project. My partner's already planning on using it to smooth out some rough patches in the hallway!

The best thing about this package is the variety and quantity of sanding pads that came with it. Five different grits with five pads for each. That's a big plus for this purchase. The sanding disc itself is okay. The velcro grip is good and the pads fit perfectly. The extension pole is worthless, you can throw that away as soon as you take it out of the box. Use a paint pole or broom stick instead. The 360-degree rotating rivet is cheap and very loose. I bought this for sanding the ceiling and found that I still had to get up on the ladder to lessen the angle of approach. I had to get the stick nearly parallel to the ceiling so that it would glide relatively smoothly. That said, this did allow me to sand the area much faster than using a palm sander. Not a great product, but I was able to accomplish what I wanted to do with it.

This has been a great time saver from having to work on a ladder to sand the ceiling or to set up a floor lift. I'm able to easily sand the 9' ceiling and the size of the disc is helping to blend the seams pretty well.
