We recently purchased a home and gutted the entire thing. We’re still finishing up the project, but when we’re at that point Pf painting the first coat on our walls (we painted the ENTIRE interior of the house), these are the best nap rollers out there. I’ve tried the cheaper ones, the more expensive ones, the Home Depot/Lowes brands, everything, and these are worth the little extra you pay. They don’t leave lint or fuzz in the paint and the paint just goes on perfect. I prefer the 1/2†nap over the 3/8†for my walls as you don’t have to keep redipping your roller in the paint as often. Great for ceilings too.

Was able to wash and reuse four times before it started to pill and if I wasn’t so picky it probably could have been more. Left a gorgeous finish on my walls.

Purdy makes the best roller I have found for the smooth and even coverage they provide, especially on textured walls. I plan to only buy these for all my painting projects.

This was my first time using Purdy roller covers. I used these particular roller covers with semi-gloss paint on primed drywall, and they did an excellent job with holding the paint and coverage of the wall. Of course I am sure nothing is 100% lint free but honestly I had no issue with lint and really didn't see any. Having used other brands of covers in the past, and having painted several house walls, I will be buying only these roller covers for future painting jobs.

The Purdy 9" long, 3/8" nap paint roller performed well for the first few passes of applying paint. However, the lines from where the roller material was attached to the roller (much like a tube of Pillsbury Dough) began separating enough to leave behind a visible pattern on the freshly painted wall. Correcting it required using a smaller roller and paintbrush. What a disappointment from a company that touts itself as a producer of reliable, top-quality, paint products.

Great quality product! Save yourself some headache and get this brand. Generic / store brand shed too much fluff out of the package - but not Purdy!

Excellent roller. I used eggshell paint with this roller and it left a smooth finish. Gwvr it a quick wash before use. No fibres came out.
