First off, good seller and fast to ship. Arrived earlier than expected. No instructions but figured it out. I have lots of extra parts but I'm assuming they are for other weed wackers. It's working great. A good investment for the money. I do recommend this set. Thank you!

Look, you are getting outside the manufacturer's recommended usage with this, I am sure, but this is so useful for woody vines and saplings. It clears brush away everything in its way with ease, up to its recommended diameter.This comes with two blades; I used one up with very heavy usage. Even though it was very dull, it still cut most items. I put on a new blade and got back to more saplings. It held up very well through all the dirt, rocks, fence posts, and wire. It held up better than I'd have thought.

Former Stihl FS08 brush cutter user here- long ago.Fits the Ego STA1500 just fine- locknut and outer flange also fit just fine.The guy who panned this showing the carbide teeth all gone- put it on backwards to do that kind of damage- of course it won't cut!!! The carbide teeth are just soldered on, so they will come right off if you put it on wrong. After 1/4 acre, mine are still in place.So pay attention to the rotation!I found the carbides got gummed up pretty fast, but still cut ok- raspberries, cherry and birch whips no problem.Tends to burn cutting small trees- So I got out the chainsaw pruner head for my Ego. Overall an ok value. Def. wear a chainsaw helmet w/ face screen-shield, long pants or even chaps, and work boots as stuff flies all over the place. NO Spectators either.

Unbelievably effective at cutting bamboo which is one of the hardest things to cut on a large scale. I had to use 4 blades to clear out a 1/3 acre of bamboo but it would have taken way more than that of any other kinda of blade. Cuts like butter, the biggest problem is hauling the brush away as fast as you can cut it. Could no be happier with what I got and how little I paid for it. There aren't instructions which makes installation a guessing game and the blades aren't 100% flat but this matters very little with a tad of ingenuity.

only one adapter and washer were usable for my application, this was obviously designed for a different string trimmer. Had to come up with another way to center the blade. The carbide tips on the blades are not as sharp as a table saw, I plan to go back to using a table saw blade after I destroy these.

This is just what I ordered. Everything was there as advertised. When the weather permits, I will have it on my Stihl fs90r and do some past due cleaning up the fast and easier way. Thanx ya'll ðŸ‘
