I have a few bits just none in this size. My other bits cut through hardwood significantly better than this bit. And those are getting older. You probably would not notice with pine but with anything harder you will. I hate to give a bad review but for this product, it’s not great.Changing the stars from 2-4 due to customer service reaching out and caring about their product.

Its ok for the price as the other major vendors don't seem to make a bit this large.The teeth on the rim are very aggressive and the center point isn't long enough so this leads to a lot of chatter and skipping around, especially if you drilling without aid of a drill press. To make an accurate hole in a vertical post I had to create jig out of hole in a piece of 1/4" plywood and then clamp the plywood onto my post. Only then could I be assured that the bit wouldn't shift out of place.
