Farkle is a beloved dice game that is easy to play for "kids" of all ages. It is pretty easily portable, because there are not a lot of complicated rules or game pieces necessary. Although it comes with a board, you don't have to use the board--any solid surface should work. The board is handy because it has a lipped edge to help keep the dice corralled and from falling off the edge of the table. The set comes with dice for two teams (or people), score cards, the board, and a carrying bag for the dice. The board has the rules for the game (scoring) etched or burned onto it. BUT. . . they don't match the rules for scoring printed on the included score sheets. . . SO--if you already know the rules for scoring, you shouldn't have a problem. If you don't. . . take your best guess, because this set won't be definitive.

We love the game Farkle, and thought it would be fun to have a game board. The board is not top quality wood, but it is a nice surface to roll the dice. There are 4 rubber feet included that you can attach to the underside of the board to keep it from sliding around on a table and decreases the noise of rolling a little.It has a lip around the outer edge of the board to keep the dice from rolling off the edge, unless you roll too hard. The score sheet is engraved into the rolling surface for reference. However, there is a discrepancy between the score sheet and the engraved score sheet for what three 1's are worth (It should be 1000 points). The instructions for the game are engraved onto the back of the board. The there are several spelling errors which are pretty glaring, and should have been caught by spell check prior to engraving these on the back of each board.It comes with 2 sets of dice. I suppose, if only 2 people are playing you can each use a set of dice. But you could easily use 1 set to play a game with a group of people. There is also a nice little bag to hold the dice.The game is supposed to go to 10,000 points, but there are not quite enough lines to play a typical game to 10,000. We just kept the scoring going in a couple more columns to the end of the game. I think the score card could be printed double-sided so that you can easily use both sides of the paper. It's a good price for this game set, but It should have some better quality for the rules and scoring engraved into the wood. I would recommend this to you if you are looking for this type of setup, but it has the potential to be better quality than the pieces are for this one.

This was cheaply made. I love the game Farkle. This contained everything needed to play the game. Rules, dice, and score card. The size of this is just perfect for travel. I plan to take this along with us. The game is just a great joy to play. It even came with rubber "feet" that I could place anywhere I wanted. That was awesome for me. BUTThe spelling on the back of the rules is horrible. The finish on the board is not smooth and well done. This needs a bit darker color in the writing and then finished off with a light coating of poly. The dice are so cheaply made. They have dents and chips in them. For people who are autistic or are playing with people who are autistic, rolling the dice in this is super loud. VERY LOUD!!! Be warned. We ended up using a leather dice tray to role our dice in.

My kids and I only learned how to play Farkle a few years back and it's so much fun for kids of all ages. I love the wooden board as it keeps the dice from falling on the floor etc. This is very nicely made and I would recommend adding this to family game night!

We love Farkle and I love that this has the rules on the board so we don’t have to constantly reference a rule sheet that we inevitably lose. The only small issue is that the wood isn’t sanded smoothly all around, so it might be capable of leaving splinters. This will be an easy fix, but it would be better if this wasn’t an issue.For me, it’s often the small details that make me love a product. With this one, they include little rubber “feet†that you can stick to the bottom of the board so it doesn’t scoot around. Those were in the bag and almost got thrown away - so don’t miss them.Over all, I’d likely purchase this product again.
