Maybe it was because I lost hope for my horrible ceiling. Chipped paint, wonky fan installation, and careless putty application had left our guest bathroom ceiling an absolute mess. I wanted to put up shiplap, but then I found these! They are lightweight and easy to install, even for an old lady! Feedback has been amazing... These are impressive!I do wish there was more variety in the woodgrain, but I rotated the planks and followed a 13" stagger pattern and it worked just fine. Far less work than drywall, wood, or drop ceilings! Definitely not for an area that gets any traffic, like a wall... They are delicate foam. If your package arrives with damage, don't leave bad reviews for the product. That's a shipper or packer problem, not a product problem.

It was shipped to me damaged so I have to take a little tiny scissors and cut off all the damage to use it to make it not look damaged. Was extremely expensive project for my bedroom to come so damaged. Do I send it back and hope for new ones no because I bought a second batch . Ugh

Not one to write reviews, but this product was so great, it needed mention. It is thin styrofoam, but that makes it easy to work with. It covered sheetrock blemishes beautifully, and it looks like real wood. So very pleased. I just ordered more !!

I used this to cover the ceiling of my tiny camper. I decided to do it with the fewest cuts possible. These can be tricky to cut on the long side but I found it easy to cut off on the short end. I used 2 bottles of Gorilla Glue construction glue and about 2.5 boxes of 12 planks, maple. Very happy with it, provided some insulation and definitely sound proofing. Looks really nice, it’s not glossy or fake looking and really looks like wood. Awesome mod for my “glamperâ€.

Walls, ceilings, whatever, these are an extremely quick and easy way to get the look you're going for, especially if you're using spray adhesive to place them ( do not spray onto the panels, the solvents in the spray dissolve Styrofoam ) they're featherweight and look excellent for what they are.BUTThis is just a pack of dyed/painted Styrofoam slats. These should not be 30$+, they're just banking on the fact you'll pay it anyway because it's cheaper than wood paneling.Good chance there are Chinese distributors popping similar products out for less than 1$ a slat, may be worth a look if your job entails more surface-footage.
