This has a standard push pin with removable pinch side backing, an extra backing is provided. The pin isn't overly large approximately 1" in height and 1/2" in width. Pretty light weight. My issue is the coating, it is done in an ultra reflective metallic gold that reminds me of bubblegum machine prizes. It's so shiny its hard to make out any detailing on this pin. Overall, while decent in make and design it just looks cheap and trashy.

This unicorn head looks menacing in person. Perhaps it is the way the mane is shaped like a helmet, or the intimidating collar around the neck. Overall, the face looks more like a skull than a live in creature to me. There are also holes going the whole way through the mouth region. So the pin is OK, but it does not look like a magical unicorn. It looks more like a skeleton unicorn going into battle or a live one that has failed a battle.

Presentation says alot about this unicorn pin. It may be a bit oversized relative to the size of the pin, but it's a an attractive presentation; In tact, you could get away without any wrapping paper.An additional fastening clasp is provided, in case you lose one backing clasp. However, that would be unlikely, it fits very snug, and there is a tight, secure 'lock' holding the backing clasp to the pin 'needle'. The initial removal and attachment was a slight struggle, which illustrates that point. After a few cycles, it was easier to attach and remove, but still very secure.This unicorn is not really a unicorn. It is actually better described as being a variety of shaffron, which is armor that adorned the head of a horse. It served to protect and as a weapon (hence the horn). Still, this is a very attractive lapel pin, in a very nice golden hue. It's the right size, so not gaudy but still noticeable.The back of the pin is plain, not textured and without any of the front design elements. This did not warrant any deduction in rating, since this is a lapel pin, and the back is not expected to be visible.Attached are photos to show real world images of the lapel pin and presentation. A rule is provided for size reference.While not the mythical unicorn, it still is a worthwhile artifact. And as a conversation piece, you can now dazzle others with your knowledge of shaffron. :)It does match up with the description and depiction in the product details. I feel it's worthy of a high level recommendation.

It's cheap but I like it. I have this in both silver and goldtone. The actual pin back on it is a bit thick, so I would not put it on silk. It's not gigantic and it isn't enough to count off for, but just note that it could leave a hole in very finely woven fabrics.It came with 2 push pin backs. I suppose they give you an extra in case you lose one. It came nicely boxed for a nice presentation.This pin isn't really masculine or feminine, it would be fine for either sex. I got it because my adult son liked it. He wanted it to wear on his jacket lapels or on one of his scarves.

This goldtone metal pin has a pushpin back and the clasp is a bit on the weak side. It does come with another backing in case that breaks which I have a feeling it will if it is taken on and off several times. I would plan on leaving it where you initially place this. The pin is about 1 inch in diameter and finished nicely. From far away the detail is very hard to make out but you can make out that it is a unicorn. It comes in a nice box ready for gifting.

I collect pins. I love unicorns so this is actually for me, not a man. This pin is made from Zinc Alloy. It comes with a gift box which can be used for storage. This pin adds an element of style and color to your outfit. This pin look like it does in the picture. I gave three stars because the price and quality match. You are getting what you pay for, not a better than average deal. The pin looks like what you would expect for this price.

The pin is as magical as it is stylish! The golden colored metal is really fantastic and I noticed they also sell it in a silver color too. Unicorns have captured imaginations for centuries and most likely will continue to do so for generations to come. I really like all the details that they captured into one color that makes it 3D. The long horn is particularly cool and unique of course. Definitely something that the average guy doesn't own so it makes a great gift idea for yourself or others to stand out! :)

I got this for my daughter because she loves unicorns, she likes it and put it on her bag. It is shiny and looks just like the photo.
