This is definitely in my Top Five of Gorgeous KingPiins!!!! Beautiful, looks much more expensive than the price listed on Amazon!!! This one will be worn often by me....the color of the stone is gorgeous, it will match any outfit!!! Make sure to put clear nail polish over the entire face of the Pin, especially over the stone and always keep the piece separate from other pieces of costume jewelry and it will last for years!! It’s made of plastic and there are three different shades of gold on the different pieces. Will be returning.

At this price, you don't expect fine jewelry. But the color of the gold on this pin is entirely unbelievable. Some of the pins from this same brand have better looking gold and add just the right bling to an outfit. But not this one.

These KINGPiiN lapel pins and brooches are a very mixed bag. Some are cute and quite funny; some are pins that an adult could wear at work, and attract comments and compliments. Some would make good backpack or hat ornaments. And some just don’t quite work, for a variety of different reasons.I can identify some sound predictors: in general, the pins that are most figural are most successful. Thus the little sailboat/s (there are several different options) work, and so does the little hammer and the eyeglasses frame. And in general, the ones that are stamped don’t work so well. The stamping is not artfully done, and it is hard to tell what they are supposed to be. Also, in general, the painted or silver pins are the best. And the ones with black chains are the least successful.Once I removed the chains and just had the larger pin on its own, I decided that I liked this pin quite a lot. It is obviously costume jewelry, of course. But the color of the stone makes this particular pin nicer than some of the other bling-ier pieces.
