Like millions of other Civic owners, the tensioner bolt hole stripped well below torque spec on my car.The drill bit in this kit was nice and sharp. I cut 1" off the back to give me room to fit it between block and fender. Then I used vice grips to turn the bit and hand drill out the old hole. I then threaded and screwed in the coil. Everything worked as planned, and I was able to torque screw to 33 ft lbs like advised by honda. I believe the hole is actually stronger now than factory. Good luck!

As advertised good tool used to re-thread a carb. Cutting tool was great. Springs seat well in threads. It would be nice if threads came in diff sizes. Did cut one down with a dremel tool but not a problem making them smaller. For the money great value. Would be nice to have an attachment to make the cutting tool easier to use with a "T" type handle. Really nice that the set came with the correct drill bit.

Worked great on repairing the aluminum mirror bracket on a motorcycle. I've seen a few people had some issues and wonder if they used tapping oil along with going a little at a time back and forth with extracting the tap to clean occasionally. Tapping/cutting oil SHOULD be used whenever cutting, drilling and tapping any metal. Admittedly I don't follow my own advice ALL the time but when working on important stuff I do.

My bolts wouldn't torque down on my 94 Toyota manifold but this came with the drill, tap, and everything needed to have perfect threads that torqued new bolts down very nicely. So easy to use as well.

Used this to repair the bolt threads for my cutch master cylinder on my 2011 Subaru Forester, I followed directions and watched other videos as well. It saved me a few bucks compared to other brand names

This is a high quality tool BUT its advertised that 3 different length inserts are included - this is FALSE. One length insert is included and it measured 10.2mm in length.

This worked like a charm on my 2jz head which had a stripped stud. Was able to tap and install the insert easily. No more exhaust leak.

Great price tool that did the job for me perfectly. Top tip, take your time, I had to re thread hard steel so I reversed the tap every half turn and cleaned out the swarf. Don’t try and rush the cut, it’s imperative to do small cuts and clean out any debris.

Used this kit to repair corroded, pre-drilled holes for a trailer hitch receiver on a 2011 Honda CR-V.The kit is actually 15 pieces, including the 10 helicoils which are all the same length and not varying lengths as stated in the product description. Don't forget you will need a tap wrench - one is not included in the kit.

Auf der Suche nach Gewindeeinsätzen in M10x1.25 zum Glück hier fündig geworden. Weil nicht ganz gängige Größe ist die Auswahl sehr begrenzt. Werkzeuge machen ein guten Eindruck. Funktioniert wie es soll.Lieferrung ging auch relativ schnell.
