I own three bows by this company and I can say their control is very good for such an inexpensive bow. These are great light little bows for bowed instruments that do not necessitate a full sized bow.

I was not planning to invest a lot of money for my 8 years old for a new bow. However, I was very happy to get this bow. The price is really low, so I did not know what to expect from it. It was a great bow for my beginner. I can tell the difference. Not bad!

My 5-year-old daughter broke her bow, running around the house like a 5-year-old. We ordered this as a replacement. For the price, this is perfectly adequate for a beginner to use (she's part way though Suzuki book one). Our teacher noticed that it was slightly warped, but no big deal. My 5-star rating doesn't mean that I think that this is a high quality bow, but simply that for under $20 this is a great value.

I'm a professional cellist teaching violin as well, and I needed a new, inexpensive bow. It is a fair bow for the price of $25. It's a bit too lightweight, so it's harder to control and slides around too easily. Maybe the bow hair on some are strung properly, but mine was way too loose. I have to tighten the bow too much so that the hair won't hang loosely, and that makes the bow stick too straight. This lessens the control you have of the bow, making it harder to play well.

This is a great bow, my daughters favorite so far. My daughter took this bow to her lesson the day after we received it and her instructor was amazed at the quality for the price. Highly recommended.

This bow broke unexpectedly while in the violin case. We really don't know any cause other than the cold weather that was experienced going to and from practices.

I didn't get a chance to try this bow because it was broken in the middle. There was no damage to the box it was packed in, nor the extra box it was shipped in...
