The antenna came well packaged, fits the radio snug without any gaps. 1.06 SWR on channel 15. It improved my reception and gave me a better transmission. I will buy again for other radios.

The ABBREE AR-771 GMRS (155/462MHz) Antenna has a very tight form fit to the radio with no gaps between the antenna and the radio housing, leaving no gap for debris or moister to expose the connection.

I tested the ABBREE 771GMRS antenna against the NAGOYA 771G and the ABBREE was hands down the better antenna. Much clearer reception and clearer/cleaner transmission. I used a GMRS repeater to talk to someone about 15 miles away from me. She gave me the report while testing both antennas. The ABBREE 771 GMRS is the antenna that I recommend for the local VFW Emergency Comms group that I lead.

The item was the best packed item I've ever seen in my life the antennas were in separate bags and each bag was in a bag of bubble wrap. Pretty sure the antennas are good. Good value The seller went out of their way to do an amazing packing job never seen that much cushioning for just a antenna.

Would not screw into Boafeng UV9G without modification. The thread was not protruding enough from the shroud to be able to screw it in. Had to cut about 4 mm of shroud off. In pics you can see original antenna (with gold band) and one of the cut shrouds plus one not cut. Works fine now, but shouldn’t have to make this mod.

I've got 4 different antennas that I use on my UV 5G plus hand held, including the 8" rubber ducky default antenna, a 15" baofeng antenna, and a Nagoya 30" tactical whip. This is a super flexible, but highly capable antenna that I find does just as well as the Nagoya 30" whip. I tested this out to about 2.5 miles from the house, and was able to actually get a signal response from a repeater over 60 miles away (no transmission, just a key up response).This performs every bit as well as the Nagoya, but for under half the price. For our uses on a chest rig, this is a great find and a great buy.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this antenna works within the GMRS frequencies end to end Channel 1 to 22. The highest SWR on my Baofeng UV-5RM was 1.19.
