You've all seen the Santa Ana winds by now and their destruction. Well I had a smaller 8 spined patio umbrella. One of the pockets got ripped in one of the storms that spread the fires. This replacement came fast and was the right size, most importantly. Very well made. Great color. Easy to put on too.

I am a great believer in repairing not replacing. I had no idea that you could buy a replacement umbrella like this. One of our patio umbrellas had become horribly chewed by squirrels while in storage, but the wooden bottom part was still perfectly lovely and in good working order. It seemed such a shame to just discard this. Well, I thought "look on Amazon", and there it was. Affordable, in a fine selection of colours, and delivered so quickly ! It went on easily and looks beautiful.

I really appreciate being able to replace parts versus have to add to the trash pile, and the price was excellent. I sprayed it with the sun protection spray, but I guess maybe those don’t work because after one desert summer, they were faded. Now it is 8 months and they are really pale and look old. Disappointing but maybe that is just what it is. Price is great though if I have to replace I guess…they were beautiful out of the box so enjoy while it lasts or if you are able to put a cover on them when not in use, I recommend that.

This product is the easiest thing to install. First, I folded the umbrella and removed the finial at the tip of the umbrella frame. Next, I removed the damaged canopy which came off easily. After that I unpacked the new replacement canopy (this product) and spread it out and located the center hole which I then lined up with the threaded tip of the umbrella frame. Replaced the finial loosely just to hold the canopy in place while I inserted the ribs to their corresponding pockets on the canopy (there are eight on my umbrella). I then tightened the finial onto the frame. Opened the umbrella to its new glory. The fit is perfect for my 10-foot umbrella. **Done in less than 15 minutes**. The product looks sturdy and the color is a perfect navy blue that matched my seat cushions. How long this will last obviously remains to be seen but it does feel like good quality. But for the price, I am not too concerned. Replacing the canopy only is way cheaper than buying the whole umbrella if the old frame is still good shape. Even if I replaced the canopy every couple of years it would still be worth it.

After my old umbrella was weathered and torn, I was about to toss the entire thing out! So glad I came to Amazon to search for replacement umbrellas! It fit just right (8 ribs) super easy to put on and also has a tie to tie it down when not in use. Great price, too! The fabric is a bit different than original one but this one is just fine! At this price, and how easy it was to replace, I’d buy another color for fall!

The replacement fit just fine for me. No problems, didn't have to cut any hole or any of the complaints I see of others.As far as ease of installation, I would say its medium difficulty. Of course there are no instructions included so you have to figure it out yourself. I watched some YouTube videos before trying and that was really helpful. You have to be creative, especially if working by yourself. I am very skilled with tools and problem solving. I dont think my wife would have pulled off the replacement, especially by herself. In fact, she wouldn't have even tried. She was ready to buy two new whole umbrella assemblies and they are not cheap. She wasn't convinced these are even replaceable until I had them on.The downside is these do not keep their beautiful color out of the package very long. The two pictures I added here are less than 1-1/2 months. Installed on May 30 2022 and already faded like this by July 10 2022. I replaced the old ones because they were actually starting to tear, so at least these arent doing that...yet, now almost 9 months later.I downgraded my review to 3 stars from 4 (I dont know where my other review went, Amazon didn't prompt me to revise it, but I know I reviewed this right out of the box). Fading like this so fast is very disappointing and I see I'm not the only customer reporting this. The price keeps it at 3 stars (just OK) as well as the apparent decent fabric and stitching quality...for the money. These are lighter weight than what they replaced.These do not repel rain/water out of the box. I know this and before I installed them, I laid them out on my gravel driveway and applied silicone waterproofing spray which was about a $5-$10 additional investment each. They still wont keep you dry in any real downpour but will for a while in a light rain.I'd like to know of a replacement that wont fade, but feel like I cant trust any of them. Simply paying more will not guarantee that. So, we'll just deal with our less than beautiful faded parasols.

Die Idee: Wenn nur der Bezug des Sonnenschirms nach mehreren Jahren kaputt ist, das Gestänge und die Mechank aber noch einwandfrei sind, ist es nachhaltiger, nur einen passenden Bezug zu kaufen und auszutauschen.Nur nicht bei diesem Produkt. Der Stoff ist okay, aber die Nähte sind so liderlich schlecht gemacht mit nur einer einzigen Naht und teilweise ohne die Fäden am Ende zu vernähen, dass die erste Lasche für eine Rippe sowie eine Naht oben am Baldachin schon beim auspacken aufgeht.Das Ding geht zurück.
