Price was low enough I purchased for one time use. Will probably not need again.

I was able to remove clutch plate and pulley but couldn't install them. I used a 3-jaw puller on the pulley but a little difficult because the back of the pulley is not flat. It's possible that the kit is not for this compressor but the arbors, silver and black, were, for some reason, the same size, too small, and didn't screw on to the center shaft screw. I rented the OEM kit at Autozone to complete the job. This was on a 2003 Impala where, even after unmounting the compressor, you can just lower it a few inches but still enough clearance.

This could be an awesome tool. However, if I have never used this tool, which is still the case , please explain, how am I supposed to know how to use this tool, and what parts exactly it can be used for ?? This tool came with no instructions. There are no youtube videos, no anything, anywhere. Its a tool. Turns out, it is just interesting metal pieces and screws unless there are some form of usage instructions included. All we could work out is how it could , maybe work , like this? It didn't. It is not a pulley puller as advertised. You see a pulley puller has clamps on it, but this is some screws and discs. Thankfully i found an excellent youtube video, with an excellent mechanic, and with the help of wd40, and a pry bar the pully magically slid off , and we replaced it within the hour. So , unless you already know what this is for, its just some cool metal screws and discs.

The tool didn’t work on the compressor. I ended up damaging the compressor trying to remove the clutch. I wasn’t happy at all !

I bought this tool to service the clutch bearing on my GM A/C unit (2000 Blazer). It did have the capability to REMOVE THE CLUTCH. However, to service the bearing, I needed a gear puller to remove it (I had that) and a press to get the bearing out. It was shot. half the balls were missing. I was afraid I would be stranded if it seized up. Upon getting the bearing off and back on, the tool kit I had had no capability to pull the pulley back onto the shaft as I needed. Neither was I able to pull the clutch back on, but had to drive it on with a hammer. All in all this tool did what it said - IT PULLED THE CLUTCH OFF. But be aware that more tools are needed than in this kit to reinstall and get back in service.
