I will be teaching a small group of children how to make pressed flower art, and needed a microwave press that was easy to use. I looked at other options that have multiple layers, and they looked pretty cumbersome to use, so I went with this one.I love the hinged opening so it all stays together, the aesthetics of it, and the ease of use. The directions were well written and clear. Components are high quality.I followed the directions and experienced no burning or complications.My only complaint is that it’s a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it fits more than I expected it would by looking at it. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and can’t wait to use it with the kids!

This is AMAZING. I was able to press whole roses so easily. The process does take some learning but it was quick to figure out timing for everything. The color of the roses don’t fade and I’m so impressed. The first picture is from a paper and board press compared to the second picture being the microwave press. So much better!

This is a nifty little flower presser. Sure beats waiting a couple of weeks when pressed in a book. I gave it 4 stars because the little handles kept popping off during use. I still got perfectly dried flowers on my first try. I followed the directions exactly, and that is why I had such a good experience. Don't skimp any steps! It is early springtime in the Rockies, so I went and bought a bouquet of varied flowers at the store. Am looking forward to foraging wildflowers in the mountains. Price on this item was fine for me, and I would definitely recommend it for those of you are looking for a quick way to press lovely flowers.

so easy to use !! it took me a while, but even during my first time using it, I was able to press thick flowers like sunflowers and roses. so happy with this— highly recommend !! and it works so quickly. has a bit of a funky smelll, but it’s so awesome !! I was nervous that the reviews were too good to be true but this is truly awesome for anyone that wants to use it. just make sure to follow the directions as to not burn the flowers !

I am very impressed with how my flowers turned out! They dried perfectly and they kept their colors! The only downside to microwaving flowers is they do let off a smell.Microwaving flowers is very fast and prevents your flowers from getting moldy unlike pressing your flowers the regular way. I pressed my wedding flowers and half of them got thrown out because they were moldy. I wish I discovered this a few months prior when I got married.I recommend microwaving for 30 seconds first, opening and letting all the steam out. At this point the flowers are fragile but pliable enough you can manipulate the petals so it looks the way you want it. Then microwave in 15 seconds increments to prevent any burning. Make sure to open it each time to allow the moisture to escape!

Bought this for a plant press project for school. Plant pressing requires practice and skill to do it properly. Traditional method takes a long time. This is almost instant, but there is a learning curve as well. Be prepared to ruin some plants while figuring it out. Do not over-microwave without making sure the pads are damp or there is a potential for fire hazard. Plants will burn and start to burn the pads. It does work, but like I said requires some skill and practice. Price is high for what it is.

I love this product it's so easy to use and quietly dries the flowers. I did notice my red roses came out more purple but I'm ok with that. I suggest starting out at 30 seconds and going from there.

The absolute best thing I have ever bought! Presses my flowers amazingly and they are still so vibrant. It's so functional and easy to use. I've even presses large double hollyhock flowers! Get value for money too compared to other brands. The holes on this one are much larger which is essential for the moisture to escape. Recommend 10000%

The hinged press is construct from heavy weight plastic and is supplied with two rugged clips to clamp the press. It is supplied with two thick absorbant pads plus four lightweight cotton sheets cut to avoid fraying. The pads and cotton sheets are shaped to comfortably fit in the press.I have used the press with Autumn coloured Maple leaves which had started to dry out and were curling. I sprayed the leaves with water before putting in the press. I then made my first mistake - I thought I had seen in the instructions that the microwave time should be two minutes! This was catastrophically wrong - the leaf came out with blackened spots and the pads plus sheets were burnt too.Having experienced my huge timing mistake I was considerably more prudent using a time of 20-30 seconds (800W microwave) . The results were excellent giving flat dry leaves, hopefully retaining the beautiful autumn colours. See photo for results.The microwave flower press is an excellent tool for the enthusiastic/commercial flower-presser, the amateur crafter, teacher and parent working with children.The cost of the flower press is quite high but it is well constructed, a good size (9" square) for relatively large items and most importantly it is very effective.

I was a bit a dubious but followed the instructions and I had dried , pressed flowers. Super easy and effective. The flowers also keep their colours. It does take a few goes in the microwave so you need a bit of time but it definitely works.
