Product Description

This Absinthe glass is very special because it has a bubble reservoir in the stem. The bubble is filled with Absinthe, then water is added. The Absinthe then slowly begins to mix with the water and swirls in white streaks. The effect with these bubble glasses is truly magical! Bubble glasses already existed in the Belle Époque era. The ALANDIA Bubble Absinthe glass is inspired by these historical originals. It is made of high-quality, mouth-blown borosilicate glass. It is also dishwasher safe, but we recommend cleaning by hand.

The bubble in the glass is filled with the Green Fairy, then, water is added. The Absinthe begins to mix with the water and louches in the bubble in swirls. The effect is really magical! Bubble glasses already existed in the Belle Époque era, the ALANDIA glass is inspired by these vintage originals.

The best preparation is with an Absinthe dripper (Brouilleur). It creates the best louche. Place the dripper filled with ice cubes on the glass. If you like, you can also add one or two sugar cubes. Then slowly pour water over the ice. Now the Absinthe glass fills with water by a steady drip and the Absinthe starts to swirl magically in the bubble. A fascinating spectacle!

Real Absinthe:

Real Absinthe is a distilled spirit, not a macerate or oil mix. It is naturally colored with herbs and does not use any artificial ingredients (flavors etc.). It has to contain wormwood (artemisia absinthium). If you are looking for real Absinthe, simply look for ALANDIA Absinthe.

The bubble is perfect for the right amount of absinthe with water. My only complaint is that the opening for the bubble is so small that the liquid splashes up towards the end of the drink

Es ist interessant zuzusehen, wie sich der Alkohol (Absinth oder Pernod) mit dem Wasser vermengt.Den letzten Schluck kriegt man nur mit dem Kopp im Nacken raus ;)

Das Absinth Glas ist wirklich sehr schön und macht einiges her. Es ist handgemacht und daher nicht perfekt, hier und da gibt es kleine Fehler aber nichts was die Stabilität des Glases beeinträchtigen sollte.#Ein kleiner Hingucker ist ganz klar die Kugel am Boden in der sich der grüne Absinth sammelt und einfach ganz anders wirklt als in anderen Gläsern.Wer gerne Absinth trinkt wird seine Freude an dem Glas haben.
