These are great current sensors at a reasonable price as long as one does not require the true RMS current measurement. These sensors output appears to be proportional to a simple time-average. The difference does not matter as long as one is measuring a pure 100% sine wave current. However, when using phase-angle controllers, the current is no longer a pure sine wave, and hence the difference between a true RMS and a time-average becomes important.

I must have gotten a deffective unit... mine didn't work, reading was not accurate, when I used the jumper to adjust input power... I noticed a difference in the scaling, but still was not even close to accurate... I could barely get a reading...pretty disappointing

Did not come with a wiring diagram or instructions. But the label on the sensor says "Before install must read the instruction carefully with proper operations.
