Works really well. There are advantages to a single large reservoir. However, if you don’t need that, there are awesome. They absolutely work well. 100% worth the money. Held plenty of water. Very easy to set up and use. Had an amazing yield my first run with them.

I placed 3 plants on the stand that were not doing that great. Droopy leaves and me not knowing if it needed water or not. So when I got the bases I took a catch man and filled it with about 1 inch of water and placed the plants in the fabric pot directly into the water to wet the bottom of the pot real good and let it soak in the water for about a minute or 2 then after putting the wick and the water into the bases I misted the top of the bases and misted the wick so everything was wet and then placed the fabric pots onto the base and within 24 hours my plants di a complete turn around and perked up and looked very happy. It's like the plants know the water is down there because the roots found that water source very fast. Amazing product. The thing I didn't like much is the level indicator and the way it could get stuck but I was able to turn the indicator until the little red thing was balance in the center and was able to tell it was free to move by lightly sloshing the water in the pot and seeing the red thing in the indicator bobbing around.

Great product, at first I didn't think they were working but about 36-48 hrs after filling the bases i could see they were soaking atleast the bottom half's of my fabric bases 3-5gallon bags. Then a little on top once the plants are all settled they just work. I love it. Didn't seem to really have a problem with over watering either which really surprised me. Overall great set very much worth the money. You maybe need to buy more rope eventually, im about there myself now but that's no big deal I guess. Water level floats are kinda janky and pointless, I just fill them up haha. You can also use normal pots with these you just need to cross the ropes through the inside of pot through the drain holes, if their big enough so their hanging down out of pot then fill with dirt, add plant, then put the ropes down into the base.

Put a couple of tomato plants on the base and they are growing faster than the ones being top fed. The catnip is cranking. Going through 1/2 gallon of water/day. The kit is the way to go. Easy setup. Its been over a month. Temps high 90s and plants going through more than one gallon/day. I water from top then the bottom in 5 gal bags. May want to get larger size pot if growing tomatoes. Plants are about triple the size on the ones in the ground outside.Updated photos: cherry tomato plant #1 goes through 1 gallon overnight and 2 to 3 gallons during the day. Could of used larger reservoir. Plant #2 only goes through 1 to 1.5 gallons a day. Plant #1 is hitting the roof in the greenhouse and will keep growing down other side. Tomatoes in both have great flavor.Warning: water level indicators stick on all 3 pots. Need to pick up and put back in hole or you may end up with empty revisor and wilted plants.

I like this because it lets the plant draw moisture as it needs it. Also good for bottom feeding nutrients. Handy if you need to leave plants unattended for a couple days too.

I have a grow tent and need a way to make sure my plants will be watered when I go on vacation. These are very well constructed. I’m using 5 and 7 gallon grow bags and they fit well. I’ll probably have to contend with the roots growing through the bottom and I will deal with that when it happens. Keep in mind that this will keep the bottom third of the soil moist. You will still need to water the top for young plants.

Completely changed my game. Best money spent this run. Reclaim some time spent hand watering and worrying about overwatering. These are the way to go.

These worked really well for my cannabis plants! They were easy to put together and they definitely work very well! I found my plant really like the bottom feeding thing!

This basically combines all the advantages of growing in soil with most of the advantages of growing hydroponically without any of the disadvantages. Create the right biome in your soil and you don’t need to monitor your nutrient solution ever again. It also creates a couple of new advantages in the process; for example, you can monitor how much the plants drink because they won’t drink more than they need, which I’ve found was the most accurate way to determine when they’re ready for harvest (they very obviously reduce their intake when they’re ready).I can’t remember the last time I saw a fungus gnat either.I have eight of these and they’re amazing; this is honestly the best thing I’ve done to my little garden.I’ve compared the way I use these to soil, coco, and hydro. This is the second-cheapest, easiest, lowest-maintenance, most reliable, and highest-yielding of the four strategies. The only (minor) issue is that the float that indicates level often gets stuck in the up position, which can be fixed by adding a bit of weight to it.

I haven't used these yet but they look the goods being very well made with a sturdy construction. Hopefully they will do what's intended, and I can escape for the weekend without the worry of my plants drying out.
