I had a Tc20 Setpower portable fridge die on me, and I replaced it under warranty but the old power supply was shot (was dc for car anyway) so I got this and it worked day 1 with the replacement fridge. The volts hit perfect then dropped for compressor and old cord didn't even power it on.This is for the home use, not DC cord but strait plug. After nearly four years, I finally lost the A/C adapter that came with my Bodega plug-in cooler. I use the A/C cable to pre-cool and load the fridge. Then I swap to the DC cable to travel with it in my truck. It was only a matter of time before I finally lost one of the two original cables.This A/C adapter from Porfritor doesn’t feel as substantial as the Bodega original. The cord itself is fine and it puts out the right voltage (14.5-14.7V). And it’s barely warm to the touch after 24 hours of continuous use. So I’m happy with it, just surprised how light the box is. It works well, but feels cheap.If this adapter fails prematurely, I’ll update my review. Otherwise … so far, so good.

I misplaced my power cord for my Trefan Car Refrigerator. This one fits exactly the same as the original and provides the correct voltage and amps to run the cooler. Apparently these are somewhat standardized, so if you need one, just look closely at the pictures and make sure the plug matches the socket on your cooler and it should work.
