The soft starter is an air conditioning soft start controller designed for single-phase soft start of air conditioning power systems. The soft starter is designed to gradually increase from 0 to the rated voltage, resulting in a smoother starting process. Effectively reducing surges and surge currents during startup, thereby avoiding tripping, melting, and even fire caused by overload.

- ALL power must be turned off before installation. If not all the switchesare turned off successfully, the voltage may be fatal. If you have anydoubts or concerns about installation, please contact a professionalinstaller. The whole installation process needs to always ensure thatyour surrounding environment is safe, especially for roof installation.

I have no complaints about this air conditioner soft starter. I ordered it for my camper / travel trailer's air conditioner, and so far it's working great. I'm now able to run the AC off of my small generator, and when plugged into 110 power at home (with a dog bone). Installation was straight forward and simple, and it works great. I've heard that this type of product can even help prolong the life of your AC unit, so I'm hoping that's the case.It works well and it's very handy being able to run my AC from my small generator. I think it's a good value for the money and I'd buy it again.Recommended.

So many of these Soft-Starts do not include the instructions but this one came with a small diagram on the unit itself. Plus, it has two links to videos that contain instructions on installing.It comes with everything you need to make the installation successful, you just need your personal tools.This device will help make your A/C run more efficient and help with smoother start ups.Quality seems very good, so I believe this is a good value.

was easily installed, u need to go to their website to get instructions for your a/c model & manufacturer,if u have basic wiring knowledge then it should be a easy install.
