I used it right away for a charcuterie platter at a party. It's not inexpensive but it is solidly made and looks beautiful. Really happy with this purchase!

Item has just arrived and surprised with the great packaging. Easy to unbox and did a quick wash before using. The board is lightweight and doesn’t have an odd smell like other reviews. The acrylic top came undamaged and is a perfect match for the grooved wood base. This is a great dessert tray for parties and the lightweight top is perfect for kids to lift with no issue. Enjoy!

Was highly impressed when I opened box - it looks so stylish in the kitchen and get many compliments on it - Has heaps of room to store alot of savoury goods etc. I wouldn't store a cake in it as its not sealed but handy if wanting cake that day to have covered away from insects etcWooden base and plastic cover are sturdy
