I have used many of these so far and not one has cracked or failed in any way. I have alot of tension on cables from a sun sail canopy and these have worked great.

These aluminum crimping sleeves, or "ferrules" as they seem to also be called, seem pretty decent. I've only put one in place on some 1/8 wire rope so far, but it definitely seems like it made a sturdy connection. Hard to say just how strong it is since it's just a small piece of aluminum, time will tell, but it was easy to put on and seems like it'll work.

Easy to use , fits a1/8 cable wire , you can crimp it with pliers or pound it square with a hammer .
