It serves its purpose. But depending on how close your head is to the visor, it can get in the way. My husband got so irritated with it when he drove my car that I just moved it over to the passenger visor.

Clip is retaining the holder tightly on the sun visor. Interior is soft, won't scratch sunglasses. Holding my sunglasses securely even when putting the sun visor down. Exactly what I needed !
