If you have weak hand strength you might be challenged to open these clips, they are that sturdy. I think they will do the job very well for whatever you need them for. Comparing the price on Amazon to the price for similar clips at a local office supply store, these are a good buy.

They’re so useful all around the house and you’re only limited by your imagination. It’s the best potato chip bag clip so you must have it and the large size is the way to go.

These are perfectly good for their intended purpose, unless you were counting on being able to bind a full inch of papers. I admit I have a slightly different use for binder clips than they are designed for. I have used them to clamp plastic sheet or various fabrics over 3/4" PVC pipe (which has an outside diameter of right around 1 inch) to make a photo light box and other projects. So I take that 1 inch of binding capacity that is assured in the product information pretty seriously. The old clips I bought are big enough to work with 3/4" pipe, but these that I just ordered are not. It seems everyone who makes these jumbo binder clips these days is making them with a slightly narrower spine — to save on material costs? Who knows. Anyway, these will be used for more conventional uses, but I'll have to find some other hack for my PVC pipe structures.

These clips have a very strong grip and hold firmly. I have been using one to secure my power supply cable to the edge of my table to prevent getting tangled with other things. I have also used them to hold a garbage bag to the edge of my table for convenience. These clips have many uses besides paper handling, this size is so useful, I also use the smaller sizes for some purposes like securing parchment paper in baking pans, sorting papers, photos, etc. I wouldn’t want to be without these clips in the house. I would recommend them.
