Convenient, 2" diameter rings securely hold up to 375 sheets of 20 lb. paper, making them a great choice for even your biggest projects. Made of tough, multi-layer, nickel-plated steel, they won’t crack or split, even with daily heavy duty use. Use them for documents or to link together a variety of materials. I bought these rings to make a busy bag activity called button snakes (cut felt into squares that you thread onto a piece of ribbon that has a button on the end) I sewed the other end of the ribbon to one of these rings so that I could hang it from something like the stroller or high chair in a restaurant. They work great! I also have used them to hold together a scrapbook with a chipboard cover and also for a quiet book made of felt for my son. This was the best deal I found online and they were shipped very quickly. It is a large box but I know in the next year they will all be used up! I would buy these again! I think this is a great size, there are smaller ones as well but this is a great size for all the uses I have found. I would compare it in size to those plastic rings you can hang a shower curtain with.

This past summer I bought thermal blackout curtains for several windows. I didn’t have hooks that would fit over the boxy vertical blinds mechanism. I didn’t want to spend big bucks for the quantity of larger hooks that I needed or struggle putting up separate curtain rods. I bought these Acco rings instead because I knew they could open up to the width I needed and be strong enough to hold up the curtains. Half the rings had a tight hinge, which are the ones I used for hooks. The other half had a looser hinge, but all of them closed securely.

I love these rings. They work perfectly for my swatches. A couple was a little hard to close. But that's ok, for the amount and price. I would definitely purchase again if needed

These handy-dandy binder rings have SO many practical uses. I originally purchased the 2" rings to organize my nail polish swatch sticks. I've also used them for keeping my hair elastics contained and those nested measuring cups together in the kitchen. My husband has borrowed a few as well, and I'm sure we'll figure out more applications for them as time goes on! I have noticed a few "duds" in the box where the hinges are off-center or a bit loose, so I'm knocking off one star. All in all, still a pretty good deal.

I purchased these loose leaf binder rings to hang up various things around my home. The list of things I am able to hang up are tank tops (women's), sports/workshout tank tops (different, because the shoulder region is broader) and scarves. I have found that I can hang up about 5-8 tank tops per hanger, depending on the weight of the tank tops, and about 5 scarves if they're the thin kind (obviously, for woven scarves, they wouldn't fit in this ring).I've had my clothes hung up for about two weeks now and they seem to stay, I haven't had any problems with these rings falling apart, or not opening. I would definitely purchase these again if I run out, but one box really takes you a really long way.If you wanted to use these for their proper purpose, they definitely will work and stay together.

I like the 2" size binder rings to use for thread fobs for embroidery projects. I got the fobs made and put 5 on each ring as gifts when attending functions. Thank you!

I love Acco Metal Book Rings! This is probably a weird statement to make, but when you think outside of the box, they have many different uses:- Curtain rod hangers(recently tried this in a nursery and it adds a very modern touch to hanging curtains, plus they glide perfectly on the rod)- Study card holder(hole-punched the corner of index cards and had handy flashcards in minutes)- Picture holder(used this concept on a film set and had location shots, favorite camera angles, and crew contact information all together on one ring)- Book Rings(why not state the obvious, right?)Unlike binders, these rings do not tend to lose their ability to snap together. In other words, they don't bend out of shape easily.50 may seem like a lot, but you'll find uses for them eventually.
