A fellow trombonist suggested this product. Works better than regular slide oil. Very slick. Only down side is it gets a little sticky. A spray bottle of water would help I think.

I love this lubrication. The secret is to not use too much of the large bottle, or it will goo up. Also the large bottle lubricant MUST look like snot. If it doesn't, it's too old or got too hot - buy a new bottle. I use the large bottle by the spit valve and the small bottle by the mouthpiece, in-between you must add water. The slide moves like it's made of glass if you do it correctly. The bottles do not smell; they are fragrance free. It's great stuff but you have to know how to use it.

Worked like it should. I didn’t know the order to apply the two products so I looked it up. My results were you spry a little water on the slide with a spray bottle, then you apply the small bottle, and then apply the big bottle.

Wow. This stuff works great.I bought a cheap Blessing trombone off the facebook marketplace and the slide didn't work quite right. I mean, it worked ok, but there was definitely resistance in the slide. The slide itself has a few very tiny dings and dents... I thought maybe that was the culprit. Before taking it into a shop I decided to try a better slide lubricant than the one that came with the thing. Long story short, I bought this, slapped it on, and now the slide moves freely again. Great product.

My son uses it in his trombone and his band-mates always ask to use it on their horns.

Trusty Slide-O-Mix. On 2 trombones of mine this is the best stuff I've ever used, on another one Yamaha slide lube does a better job. Test it out for yourself, good product. The bottles should last you a long while.
