Step 1
Loosen screws of the holder before configuring the holder, counterbores, and pilots
Step 2
Make sure the flat of the pilot shank faces the screws when inserting the pilot and the counterbore into the holder.
Step 3
Make sure the flat of the counterbore shank faces the screws when inserting the pilot and the counterbore into the holder.

Step 4
Ensure there is no gap between the counterbore and the holder after inserting the counterbore with the pilot into the holder
Step 5
Tighten the screw to fix the counterbore with the holder.
Step 6
Tighten the screw to fix the pilot with the holder.

By no fault of the tool, I accidentally broke one of the drills due to an error on my part. I reached out to their customer service and explained what happened and they sent me a replacement right away. I have several Accusize kits and all are superior quality.

I am very pleased with this counterbore set. Unlike the Amazon photo, it comes in a very nice aluminum case. All the parts were in their individual compartments in pristine condition. It is true that the set screws are small and some reviewers have over tightened them resulting in stripping. Do not over tighten the set screws! They do not need heavy tightening!

These are pretty bad and I wouldn't recommend them AT ALL. First off the pilot guides do not stay inside the bore of the cutter so there's no real way to use them safely. The set screw doesnt make contact with it at all. Therefore the only thing that's holding the cutter itself is one miniscule set screw that really needs to be torqued tight to keep the cutter accurate. The problem with that is now you're left with a burr on the cutter and it's an absolute pain to remove from the sleeve.Really just an awful product and a complete waste of $120

These cutters arrived in pristine condition. The set screws were all perfect, individually wrapped in plastic in a fitted case.I removed all the cutters and checked all the pilots for concentric, all good. For the price this is an exceptional value. Would definitely recommend...weekend warrior.

Looks great in the box, but two cutters were internally plugged with wads of rust.Quite a bit of runout, but the center post aligns it, so good for most applications.

I got exactly what I wanted. Very versatile set with a good range of pilots and counterbores. The packing could have been better, as some of the tools were out of the cradle, but nothing got chipped or dinged, so I am happy.

This product has the honor of being the first item I have ever returned.When I opened the box,most of the cutters and pilots were strewn around inside.It looked like someone put it in a paint shaker.Several cutters had multiple chips in the edges. I paid a lot of money for this set and I don’t have to put up with this. I sent it back for a refund. I don’t feel safe trying to replace it because, I doubt that the replacement would be any better.Do not buy this product. You will be disappointed.

First of all - I am using these primarily in wood. I was expecting the cut quality to be better given the multiple flutes but there was a fair amount more tearout than I expected. Could be due to the design being primarily for metal cutting but the bits could also be sharper out of the box. Some of the sizes cut cleaner than others. Otherwise the sizes and function are great. My only other complaint is that the set screws stripped rapidly. I think probably the better way to go would be to buy a few select sizes of high quality bits rather than a larger set like this but the convenience of having lots of options is good as well. 3/5 stars

I received the Accusize industrial tool 21 piece counterbore set in the Imperial version. It is accurate to the listing photographs and I really like that all of the pieces fit into the case with fitted slots, each of the tool parts fit into individual slots which is great for keeping them in place for storage and for moving them around.The set itself is okay quality, they have built in counterbores to keep them even.My husband likes that it all fits into the case and have only used this once yet, so far so good, I will update if anything changes.

Good idea. Lots of size options.But they wobble and as a result make the hole to big. Good for hobby only. I will keep them but disapointed overall. The thin pin that holds the small guid inplace is weak and allows the cutter to wobble a bit.
