Pilot end was .002" over size compared to my other R8 spindles. Sanded it down to fit.I had to run a tap though the threads for the drawbar.Threads fit the boring head good.Have to downgrade my previous rating to 2.. The drawbar threads are way off center and puts a bind on the drawbar and is hard to screw in while in the machine.. After retapping the threads are good outside the machine. Had to flip the drawbar washer to allow it to float more.I really needed this for a job so I haven't contacted Insize about a replacement since I also had to sand the pilot diameter to fit. I may end up recentering the hole and using an insert.

Tool is fine, but description did not indicate that other parts were needed for it to work. An adapter was needed to make it fit the machine.

This arrived with a fair amount of rust on the slot that runs along the shank. Nevertheless, after clearing enough away to seat it in the spindle correctly (it was catching on the set screw), it has been just fine for all sorts of boring shenanigans.

Machined well fit of taper and threat excellent.
