My coworker has the AC Delco 3/8 cordless ratchet and likes it which is why this brand got my attention. I now use this for auto repair professionally five days a week. I had a Makita impact driver for several years that I loved. This is as close to that as I have found. This is a great tool that is lightweight and has enough power for any quarter inch drive work. For $60 this is the best value in cordless impact drivers, IMO. This works well for bumper cover and fender liner screws/bolts, interior fasteners, battery terminal clamps, and engine sensors and cover fasteners. The battery will last more than a day and charges quickly. (I'm not using it in assembly line type of work but as a general automotive tech the battery will last multiple days). As others have mentioned these batteries will fit and work in the HF earthquake brand tools as well. That was one of the reasons I bought this- I have a HF earthquake 3/8 ratchet and wanted to start getting batteries that worked with multiple tools. I convinced a third tech at work to buy the AC Delco brand and he now uses them daily without issues.

Battery the same as with my wrench both seem to last a long time with being 12v. Very nice ergonomic design. Powerful enough to use with sockets

I bought this because I needed a cordless screwdriver to remove 7mm, 8mm, and 10mm fasteners quickly and without destroying them. This does that perfectly. It feels very nice in the hand and is comfortable to use. Ive used this every day for the past month professionally and Ive only charged it once. Battery life is exceptional and it's nice that the kit comes with 2 of them. THESE BATTERIES FIT THE EARTHQUAKE 12V STUFF TOO. So it's a plus that my ratchet uses the same battery and charger. I would definitely recommend this to any technician.

I was reluctant to purchase this compact tool, but it HAS ITS PLACE, especially in areas where a larger machine won't fit. I am very happy to report, this little machine is worth it's weight in gold to me and has more horsepower than I expected. The biggest downfall is the time it takes to recharge a battery. Longer than I'd like, so I suggest buying two more batteries. The truth is, Harbor Freight's 12V compact sander/polisher batteries and charger are identical and interchangeable. I am interchanging them without an problems.
